To find the Taylor River rest area on Vancouver Island:

If you’re coming from Tofino, head east on Highway 4, also known as the Pacific Rim Highway.

Drive Towards Port Alberni: Continue on Highway 4 towards Port Alberni. The Taylor River rest area is approximately 50 kilometres (31 miles) from Tofino, so the drive will take about 40-50 minutes.

If you’re coming from Port Alberni to Tofino, head west on Highway 4, the Pacific Rim Highway, towards Tofino.

The Taylor River rest area is conveniently located along Highway 4, making it a perfect spot to pause and take in the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, regardless of which direction you’re coming from.
