There’s a free winter arts experience coming to downtown Victoria

It will light up the city for three days! ✨
(Victoria at Dusk)

A free winter arts festival will be lighting up downtown Victoria this Family Day long weekend.

From February 13th to 15th starting at 5 p.m., downtown will come alive with bustling social spaces, quiet reflective experiences, and playful interactions that are fun for the whole family.

Victoria at Dusk, an all-ages free event brought to Victoria by the City of Victoria’s OUR DWTN program and The Wilder, is bound to be a weekend filled with lights, art, and discovery.

Start off at the heart of Victoria at Dusk—Ship Point—which will transform into a vibrant hub where visitors can come together to eat and drink while enjoying DJs and other activities.

Here, visitors can take part in art activities and neon body painting, or dance to DJs and watch projections on Havn Sauna while sipping on a beer from Lamppost Beer Bus or snacking on something from one of the various food vendors.

From there, follow the illuminated pathways and embark on a self-guided tour leading to Bastion Square, Government Street, the Victoria Conference Centre, and the Royal BC Museum.

At Bastion Square, discover installations centred around play and curiosity, a nightly artisan market, and events in local organizations, such as Candlelit Chocolate Fondue with the Francophone Society.

Inside the Victoria Conference Centre, immerse yourself in reflective and peaceful sound and visual experiences, or connect with nature at the Royal BC Museum.

Activities include Lekwungen dancers and music, walking tours, silent discos, cedar weaving workshops, and much more! The full program is available online.

Bundle up, grab your friends and family, and make memories while discovering the magic of this free winter arts festival—you won’t want to miss it!
