It’s back for another year, the third annual Field of Dreams Show and Shine in Colwood.
Presented by LayedOut Car Club & Light Em’Up.TV, this car show will feature hundreds of cars, trucks, motorcycles, big rigs, race cars, and pedal bikes. If it has wheels, it’s going to be there, but most importantly, the event will showcase over 60 lowriders and mini-trucks!
Taking place on Sunday, August 11th, at the lower fields in behind Juan de Fuca Recreational Center, this will be a car show you won’t want to miss—you might even see a car or two hopping around.
Organizers say there will be lots of fun for all ages, including amazing automotive-related vendors, delicious food, games, prizes, bouncy castles, a dunk tank, face painting, and so much more!
Raffles, prizes, and sponsor packs are available for all registered vehicles.
Three large fields will be full of beautiful metal and chrome machines, with organizers anticipating upwards of 700 to 800 vehicles this year!
In addition to the cars, automotive vendors will be selling car parts and accessories, clothing, signs, automotive art, Hot Wheels, as well as hosting a swap meet with old car junk.
There will be lots of activities for the kids this year, including bounce castles, an obstacle course, a colouring contest, face painting, and fun games.
And when it comes time to eat, there will be six food vendors, three ice cream trucks, and a candy vendor will be present, offering plenty of treats.
There will be lots to do, and 100% of the proceeds will go towards charity, including 91.3 Zone’s Toy Drive, men’s therapy, and BC Cancer.
