Over 55 shops and businesses will take part in Sidney’s massive sidewalk sale this month

Grab the fam and head to Sidney for their biggest shopping event of the year – the annual Sidney Sidewalk returns this August, and you’re invited!

Hosted by Explore Sidney, this free, fun and family-friendly event is happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, August 16th and features more than just shopping – on top of the over 55 local shops and businesses partaking in the sale, it also includes a day full of activities, live entertainment, and even things like face-painting and a photobooth.

Kick off the festivities with live music at the corner of Fourth Street and Beacon Avenue, setting the tone for a lively day downtown. Visitors can also enjoy an on-site photo booth at the Sidney Pier Hotel, face painting at Buddies Toys, and classic lawn games in Beacon Park.

Need a little pick-me-up after all of that shopping? New this year, you can stop by the Lemonade Stand sponsored by Thrifty Foods and Salvador Davis & Co for a FREE cup of Lemonade!

Here’s what’s happening at this year’s Sidney Sidewalk Sale:

➡ Sidney by the Squeeze FREE Lemonade Stand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (corner of Second Street and Beacon Avenue)
➡ Meet Elsa from Disney’s Frozen from 12–1 p.m. at Kiddin’ Around on Fifth Street! Enjoy a frozen treat during your visit.
