There’s never been a better time to join the more than 80 local businesses and organizations who are supporting Island kids through the annual event, which returns to the Bay Centre November 15th to January 5th.
The Festival of Trees transforms the entirety of the Bay Centre into one of the largest Christmas tree displays on the island with holiday trees on every level.
These beautifully decorated trees are sponsored by Victoria businesses in support of local children who receive lifesaving care each year at BC Children’s’ Hospital.
The community get to vote for their favourite and enjoy the display throughout the holiday
season. Festival of Trees Victoria is beloved by the community because it’s a heartwarming tradition that showcases the support of the community in a stunning holiday display.
It’s an event that makes it easy and accessible for friends and family to get together and celebrate the magic of the season. Some making it an annual visit that includes enjoying hot chocolates while browsing the trees and stopping in Centre Court for some holiday photos as part of their visit.

Support Local Families on the Island
In 2023, 3,379 kids from Vancouver Island visited BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) – that’s more than 9 children every day of the year who receive lifesaving care from BCCH’s world-renowned medical team.
Your support helps fund breakthrough research, treatment and care for seriously ill kids. Since the
Bay Centre started hosting the annual display in 2015, the Festival of Trees has generated over $1.4 million.

Each year thousands of visitors take part in the Festival of Trees, taking time to view each tree and vote for their favourite. Many tree sponsors have been taking part in this event since its inception and come back every year because of the positive feedback they get from their customers and the broader community for supporting local children who need the care of BC Children’s Hospital.

Team Building
Teams love Festival of Trees because it’s an opportunity to bring everyone together for a good cause and share in the holiday spirit. It’s always hard to find time to connect as a team, especially for remote employees and Festival of Trees makes it easy.
You’ll be provided with a tree to decorate as you like at one of four festive decorating events and some extras for your team to keep the team spirit going through the holiday season.
