To celebrate National Ice Cream Day and the arrival of a new Superman movie, Dairy Queen Canada is rolling out not one, but two sweet surprises to keep Canadians chilled and thrilled.
On Sunday, July 20th, DQ fans can score a small vanilla cone for just 85 cents—yes, seriously.
The catch? You’ll need to download the Dairy Queen app and sign up for a DQ Rewards account. The offer will appear under “Deals” in the app and is available at participating locations for one day only.
DQ Rewards is the brand’s new loyalty program, giving members access to exclusive discounts, mobile ordering, birthday perks, and points you can redeem on future purchases.
You’ll earn 10 points for every dollar spent, which adds up quickly when you’ve got a Blizzard habit.
Speaking of Blizzards, DQ has also teamed up with Superman for a limited-edition treat that’s a colourful blast of sugar cookie dough, sprinkles, and cake batter flavour, all mixed into their signature soft serve.
It’s called the Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard, and it’s July’s Blizzard of the month.
Between 85¢ cones and a heroic new Blizzard flavour, DQ is going all out to make this a summer to remember.
