Get your bibs ready, Victoria—BC CrabFest is back and bigger than ever!

Presented by BC Crab Co. in partnership with BC Crab Fishermen’s Association, City of Victoria, and DVBA, the 3rd iteration of this beloved event returns Sunday, June 29th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., taking place in an all new location—Victoria’s stunning Ship Point in the Inner Harbour.

BC CrabFest looks to bring BC’s bounties to your plate, with sustainably sourced, proudly local and exceptionally delicious offerings—giving attendees the chance to truly eat, drink and Buy BC.

The crown jewel of this event is of course the legendary BC Dungeness CrabBoil bucket—featuring fresh-off-the-boat Dungeness crab, mussels, prawns, potatoes, and sweet corn, all bathed in buttery, signature seasoning goodness. It’s a hands-on, harbourside feast you won’t want to miss.

You can pre-purchase your bucket online here to guarantee your delicious haul and snag a convenient pickup window, because these buckets go fast!

Your ticket gets you:

  • 1 lb of fresh BC Dungeness crab
  • Seasonal mussels
  • BC prawns
  • Local potatoes and corn
  • Fresh bread, signature seasoning, and melted butter
  • The ability to select a 1-hour pickup window to avoid lines and keep things fresh

Admission to the festival is by donation at the gate, and your CrabBoil Bucket ticket is for the meal—but you’re invited to stay, eat, and enjoy all-day programming!

Speaking of which, this festival is so much more than crab—bring the family to the Seaside Family Zone for live art, bubbles, face painting, and crafts that’ll keep everyone entertained.

Meanwhile, the Education Marketplace offers fun and interactive sessions where you can dive into sustainable seafood practices and meet the hardworking local fishing families who bring this ocean bounty to your plate.

There will also be live entertainment for everyone to enjoy, including Lewkungen Traditional dancers, a theatrical performance, live DJ, sea chanties, and more!

And if you’re heading to the festival, don’t worry about parking—Victoria’s Inner Harbour is easy to reach by bus, bike, or even the Harbour Ferry. And parking downtown is free on Sundays!

BC CrabFest is not just a feast; it’s a celebration of community, coastal culture, and sustainability. So rally your crab-loving crew, loosen those napkins, and get ready for a day of salty, buttery, crabby bliss!

BC CrabFest is proud to partner with Buy BC, a program that helps British Columbians identify and support local food producers. Their support ensures that the CrabBoil and festival offerings highlight ingredients grown, fished, and made right here in BC—connecting eaters to the source.

This summer, BC Crab Co. will be running direct-to-community crab sales every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fisherman’s Wharf in Victoria. Locals and visitors can buy live BC Dungeness crab straight from the boats. It’s fresh, it’s local, and it supports BC fishing families—the same people behind CrabFest.

This project is supported by the BC Government’s Buy BC Partnership Program; delivered by MNP LLP with funding from the Government of British Columbia.
