Comedian Chelsea Handler spent the weekend soaking up the west coast vibes in Tofino… and she wasn’t alone!
Handler shared photos of her adventures alongside Canadian music icon Jann Arden, and fans are absolutely loving the duo’s coastal getaway.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Handler posted a series of photos captured by photographer Jannicke Kitchen, including shots of her running down Chesterman Beach in a bathing suit and rain jacket, and another of her laughing with friends at Shelter Restaurant.
“Went to Tofino for the weekend to practice smiling,” said Handler with her post.
The photos quickly drew hundreds of comments, with fans thrilled to see Handler and Arden enjoying one of BC’s most beloved destinations.
Handler is no stranger to BC. She’s made Whistler a regular birthday stop, famously skiing in a bikini each year as part of her tradition of inspiring women to embrace confidence.
A couple years ago, she went viral for taking things up a notch by skiing topless for her 48th birthday.
Handler also performed live in Victoria at the Save-on-Foods Memoria Centre in March of last year.
This time, though, it was all about salty air and sandy beaches.
