Don’t throw away those leftover jack-o-lanterns!
This Saturday, November 1st, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Westshore Town Centre and Langford Fire Rescue invite you to their annual Charity Pumpkin Smash—a family-friendly, free event full of festive excitement—because the fun doesn’t stop on Halloween.
Bring your leftover jack-o-lanterns and a cash donation to the Westshore Town Centre Cineplex parking lot, and watch as Langford Fire Rescue smashes them to bits by dropping them from their towering 100-foot fire engine ladder.
All proceeds from pumpkin smash donations will go directly to the BC Burn Fund, supporting burn survivors and fire prevention programs across the province.
Tim Hortons will also be serving hot chocolate and coffee to keep you warm and cozy, available by donation—plus, 91.3 The Zone will be broadcasting live on location!
