(Merridale Cidery & Distillery)

If you’re a fan of crisp, refreshing ciders, mark your calendar for Sunday, September 21st.

Merridale Cidery & Distillery is hosting its 7th Annual Cider Harvest Festival from 1 to 4 p.m., and it’s shaping up to be a celebration you don’t want to miss.

This popular event brings together some of the best farm-based cideries from across British Columbia for an unforgettable tasting experience in the heart of the Cowichan Valley.

With early bird tickets just $49 until August 31st, guests will enjoy admission, a souvenir tasting glass, and return transportation from Victoria, Westshore, Duncan, or Nanaimo.

Drink tokens are sold separately for $2 per pour. Ticket prices increase to $59 on September 1st—don’t wait!

Every cidery attending is part of the BC Farm Crafted Cider Association, meaning their ciders are made on-site with apples grown on their own land. Expect unique small-batch flavours that can’t be found on a mass scale.

Alongside the tastings, the festival features a pop-up liquor store so you can stock up on your favourites to take home.

There will be a dedicated food area for festival participants, where hand-held bites and snack foods will be available for purchase.

Live music will set the tone for a laid-back afternoon of sipping, sampling, and savouring.

Tickets are almost sold out, and none will be available at the door, so don’t wait or try and win yourself tickets and tokens below!
